about
American Paranoid is both the story and the antithesis of the fear and paranoia that we, as humans, put ourselves in. The song is a way for us to feel in control when we feel powerless to what we conspire against. It's emotional, fierce, rebellious, and, above all, relatable. The song features punk and alternative influence that evolved over months of practice and performance, until it felt perfect. We know you’ll love it as much as we do.

LYRICS
It seems your name lingers in the corner of the room
Right where you left it
It all looks the same, but it feels so new
Not like you’d expect it
Now Miss Sunshine Eyes has got a surprise
You’re tripping on the wire and sipping on time
It’s falling backwards because it knows the way you hurt
They won’t be asking you to take your own life
Not this time, cause the lines are crossed
And the words are lost, so now they’re looking right through you
They say please stop being so hellish
Your thoughts are so lost and it makes them look like a mess
Fill up the void, oh you’re so paranoid
Drop to our knees and we’ll pay for it
Speak easy, don’t let them down again
It’s like the time where we all found ourselves locked in
In case of emergency, make sure not to set them free
Your trials will spill in the face of humanity
Judge and jury is traditional
But we managed to find our way out of the wall
Now we’re climbing up the sides, and foreseeing all the while
Can’t speak to what they find
Under cover and under fire
It’s no new news that the mouthpiece is a liar
Oh, they say please stop being so hellish
Your thoughts are so lost and it makes them all jealous
Fill up the void, oh you’re so paranoid
Drop to our knees and we’ll pay for it
So paranoid, paranoid
Oh, we’re gonna pay
Gonna pay, gonna pay
Oh, help us out here
Oh, they say please stop being so hellish
Oh no, we can’t deal, you’re just such a mess
Fill up the void, oh you’re so paranoid
Drop to our knees and we’ll pay for it pay
They say please stop being so hellish
Your thoughts are so lost, oh you’re such a goddamn mess
Fill up the void, oh I can’t help but know
We’ll drop to our knees and pay for it
